This website will give you an idea of what Alcoholics Anonymous may be able to offer you. But to understand how AA works, you will need to go to some AA meetings and meet people like yourself who had a problem with alcohol but are now recovering. You will meet hundreds of them who are now living happy, fulfilling lives without alcohol.

There are lots of books and pamphlets about AA. Nearly all AA meetings have them available. Usually, pamphlets are given away free and books are sold at a modest cost. For a list of titles, click here.
